Following a number of the congregation visiting the Threads of Creation Exhibition at Southwark Cathedral recently Lu has suggested we create our own Creationtide banners.
As in the past we have created pieces for display, we have been inspired by the exhibition to work on a new project for all those who would like to work together as a group.
We have drafted a plan and started collecting materials with a view to starting this project during Creationtide 2024 ready for completion and hanging in Creationtide 2025.
We are hoping this project will involve a lot of people each doing a little piece. There will be a brief initial meeting between the 9 and 10 o’clock services on Sunday, 22nd September to explain a little more about the project and for people to express an interest in becoming involved. Also there will be a sign up sheet at the back of church for names and contact details.
